Check the day before you drive

Start there Saturday morning and work outward.

• Cluster by subdivision. Don't chase addresses across the city as you spot them. Pick an area, hit everything there, then move to the next. A dozen sales within a mile of each other is a far better hour than four sales spread across Westland.
• Weight the north half. Registrations skew hard toward the northern subdivisions above Ford Road; the southeast corner of the city is comparatively thin. Plan your loop accordingly.
• Then work the second tier. After the Spring Valley pocket, Conway Drive and the streets around it sit about a mile and a half east — a natural next stop rather than a drive back across town.
