The Highway 3 Corridor Yard Sale is a three-day, four-county garage-sale run strung along US Highway 3 across north-central Iowa. Thursday, September 3 through Saturday, September 5, 2026 is when it runs, and it links a chain of small towns from Humboldt in the west through Clarion and Belmond to Hampton, Sheffield, and on toward Allison in the east — roughly 70 miles of stops across Humboldt, Wright, Franklin, and Butler counties.
Now in its 16th year, it's the kind of corridor event where the fun is in the driving: you point the car down Highway 3 and work town after town, each with its own cluster of home sales, church and community sales, and the occasional multi-family setup. Because it spans four counties, no two towns turn over quite the same inventory — farm-town tool sales one stop, kids' and household goods the next.
