The Jamestown Fall Community Garage Sales are a town-wide weekend when households all across Jamestown, North Dakota hold their sales at the same time. It runs September 2026. When a whole town sells on one weekend, you can cover a lot of ground in a morning without much driving in between, which is exactly why it pays to map it before you go.
Jamestown is the Stutsman County seat in southeastern North Dakota, right on Interstate 94 between Fargo and Bismarck. It's Buffalo City, home of the World's Largest Buffalo and the National Buffalo Museum, and the home of the Blue Jays, whose gear turns up on more than one sale table this weekend. Expect the mix a settled prairie town turns out in the fall: back-to-school kids' clothes and gear, furniture, hand and shop tools, kitchenware, hunting and fishing gear, antiques, and the occasional real find out of a garage or shed that hasn't been cleared in years.
