The Yorktown Town-Wide Rummage Sale is the weekend when households all across Yorktown, Indiana hold garage and rummage sales at the same time. August 2026 is when it runs, 8 AM to 4 PM both days. Families get their address on the town-wide list, and for two days the whole town — plus a handful of neighbors just over the line in Muncie — turns into one big, scattered sale.
Yorktown sits in Delaware County in east-central Indiana, just west of Muncie, a settled small town where homes clear out years of accumulation every summer — furniture, tools, kitchenware, kids' gear, antiques, and the occasional real find. With sales spread from the subdivisions on the west side to the older streets near downtown, a single morning can cover very different inventory depending on which part of town you start in.
Every participating address on the flyer is plotted here, each with whether it's open Friday, Saturday, or both, so you can line up the shortest route around the sales nearest you and hit the densest streets early for the best pick. Some sales are Friday-only, some Saturday-only, and most run both days.
