MapMySales ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Damay Enterprises. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app at mapmysales.net.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password. Your password is managed securely by our authentication provider (Supabase) and is never accessible to us in plain text.
Profile and preferences: You may provide a home address, preferred sale types, shopping days, keywords, and distance preferences. These are used to personalize your search results and route recommendations.
Search and usage data: We log search activity (addresses searched, dates, radius) and feature usage to improve the service. This data is associated with your account.
Day plans and notes: Sales you select, day plans you save, and notes you add to sales are stored in our database so you can access them across sessions.
Feedback: Messages you submit through the feedback form are stored and forwarded to our support team via email.
Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. We receive your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account tier.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the app:
We use browser session storage to preserve your search results and selections during your browsing session. We use cookies for authentication (maintaining your login session).
Analytics cookies (opt-in only): We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the service. Analytics cookies are only set if you explicitly choose "Accept" on the cookie consent banner when you first visit the app. If you decline, no analytics data is collected and PostHog is never loaded.
You can change your analytics preference at any time in Settings under the Privacy section. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems. Anonymized, aggregate usage data may be retained for service improvement.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), JWT authentication, row-level security on our database, rate limiting, and security event monitoring. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
MapMySales is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
